In addition, we look forward to delivering feature programming including audio and video interviews, highlighting news, events and people that make South Georgian Bay such a great place to live, work and play.

The late Jim Unger is best known for his HERMAN comic strips. They appeared in weekly and daily newspapers for decades. Unger published a series of books, filled with HERMAN comic strips that made us laugh, and, if the truth be known, made us see a little of ourselves in his work. Play me a song, you’re the Piano Man!
Downtown Collingwood welcomed back piano players of all levels in 2023. Because of COVID-19 health restrictions, the Collingwood Downtown Street Piano Program had to be cancelled for two summer seasons. This year, the music and musicians returned. Let’s meet the organizers and take a look back at how this terrific summer attraction came to life on the downtown streets.
